Few day ago, I have received some new (old) stuff I was really looking forward to having in my collection. First of them was a boxed set of Bauhaus Etoiles Mortant. No I don't mean those 1st edition crazy man-like apes ... I am talking about nice, slim 2nd edition models. While I already have some of them in my collection, I really wanted to enlarge the current squad and also acquire the box itself.
I have also managed to get pretty cheap Venusian Ranger trooper and HMG specialist to enlarge our Venusian Ranger squad (or allow to field too small squads). If free time and creativity allows, I will probably try to convert one of the Venusian Rangers to Flamethrower specialist (which made appearance in 3rd edition (UWZ) rulebook but I have never actually seen the model. But what really made my day was oldschool Golgotha model that I also got off ebay for a fair price. Hopefully I will have enough time to paint all of these some day :)
Last model that I always wanted and finally got few days ago is an Imperial Warhounds Chieftan. The problem is, I now need a whole new squad of Warhounds. I have order a squad and some other models from Prince August about two months ago but they never arrived....next time I will surely use insured post....
Apart from the models, I also used the opportunity of receiving a payment to paypal and bought two books I always wanted to have a look at. As I never had a chance too peek into them, I decided that not buying a good book for 5 GBP is crime against all my values.... and bought two Lord of the Rings rulebooks from ebay for 10 GBP in total :)) Yes, they may be old and already surpassed by the Hobbit rulebooks, but even if it would be just for a pictures, I still consider this a real bargain....

But that is not all the news from Ganymede.... I will finally have some free time this weekend (less work than usual) to hopefully finish painting and basing the Ezoghoul and have a closer look at some Warzone Resurrection stuff I have received few days ago...
